Amy Eidson
Amy Eidson:
As a junior rider Amy trained with some of the best nationally recognized trainers in the US. She qualified for indoors in 1978 and 1979 in Equitation and Junior Hunters and was New England Open Equitation Champion in 1979.
Amy took time to attain a degree in Marketing, Management and Speech Communication from the University of Rhode Island. She then opened Irons Gate Stable in 1983, where her riders qualified for the Medal/Maclay and USET Finals and had a student win the USET Gold Medal.
Currently Amy is Co-Chair of the New England Equitation Committee; Sr. Director and Past President of the RI Horseman’s Association and holds a USEF ‘R’ licensed judge in Hunt Seat Equitation and Hunters, and ‘r’ in Jumpers.
Amy became a licensed P&C insurance agent in 2007 and lives in Wakefield RI with her husband John.
